The Deerslayer and Chingachgook

This version of the famous James Fenimore Cooper story has Bela Lugosi, in one of his earliest films, playing Chingachgook the Indian. Although European westerns became hugely popular in the 1960s, this film (shot in Hungary by a German crew) shows that they were a staple of European cinema long before that time.
