Daily Life in Biblical Times

Using archaeological and textual sources, the author reconstructs the daily lives of the Biblical Israelites (ca. 1200-600 B.C.E.). He describes the activities of rural and urban economies, physical settings and buildings, sociopolitical structures, food preparation and storage, hygiene and sanitation, arts and writing, and warfare.
