Today, it takes just a few comfortable hours to drive from Vancouver to Squamish, Whistler, or Pemberton. Regular ferry service runs between the Lower Mainland, the Sunshine Coast and Howe Sound islands, such as Bowen, Gambier and Keats. Passengers and supplies move easily throughout the Howe Sound area.
