<p>Zadie Smith is an English novelist, essayist, and short story writer, and the recipient of a number of highly coveted prizes, including the Orange Prize for Fiction and the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award. In 2002, she was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. Her novel <i>White Teeth</i> was included in <i>Time</i> magazine's list of 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005. Her 2012 book <i>NW</i> was selected as one of the top ten novels of the year by <i>The New York Times</i> and her 2017 novel <i>Swing Time</i> was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize.</p>
