Mitch Albom

<p>Mitch Albom is the author of numerous books of fiction and nonfiction, which have collectively sold forty–two million copies in forty–eight languages worldwide. He is known for heartfelt and reflective books like the bestselling memoir, <em>Tuesdays with Morrie</em>, thought–provoking novels like <em>For One More Day, The Little Liar,</em> and <em>The Stranger in the Lifeboat</em> as well as inspirational reads like <em>Have a Little Faith</em>. Several of his books including <em>The Five People You Meet in Heaven</em> were adapted into successful television films. Albom gained prominence as a sports journalist and continues to contribute the <em>Detroit Free Press</em>. A philanthropist, he founded the nonprofit SAY Detroit and operates Have Faith Haiti, a home and school for impoverished children and orphans in Port–au–Prince. Albom lives with his wife, Janine, in Michigan.</p>
