<p>Kelly Link is the author of <em>Get in Trouble</em>, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction. Link's writing is often described as magic realism; she incorporates elements of fantasy, science fiction and horror into her novels and short stories. Her other books include <em>Magic for Beginners, Stranger Things Happen, White Cat, Black Dog</em> and <em>Pretty Monsters</em>. She also co-edited several anthologies, including multiple volumes of <em>The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror</em> and, for young adults, <em>Steampunk!</em> and <em>Monstrous Affections</em>, with Gavin J. Grant. Link is a co–owner of Book Moon, an independent bookstore in Easthampton, Massachusetts. She currently lives with her family, dog, and chickens in Northampton, Massachusetts.</p>
