Kamala Harris

<b>Kamala Harris</b> (b. 1964) was elected vice president of the United States of America in 2020. Before assuming the vice presidency, she served as a United States senator from California, attorney general of California, and the district attorney of San Francisco. She is the first woman, Black person, and person of Indian descent to hold the office of vice president. She is married to attorney Douglas Emhoff and is a stepmother to their two children, Ella and Cole.
