John J. Nance

<p>John J. Nance (1946) is an aviation specialist and author. He has written several bestselling books, including <i>Skyhook</i>, <i>Turbulence</i> and <i>Orbit</i>. Two of his novels, <i>Medusa's Child</i> and <i>Pandora's Clock</i> were adapted into successful television mini-series. He is also a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Airforce Reserve. Nance has also appeared on over 1,300 radio and television shows, including <i>The MacNeil—Lehrer Report</i>, <i>Oprah</i>, and <i>Larry King Live</i>.</p>
