Jane Smiley

<p>Perhaps best known for her Pulitzer Prize winning novel <i> A Thousand Acres</i>, Jane Smiley is also the author of a number of other books. This list includes the recently completed trilogy The Last Hundred Years, an acclaimed saga about an Iowa family that consists of the books <i>Some Luck</i>, <i>Early Warning</i>, and <i>Golden Age</i>. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and also received the PEN Center USA Lifetime Achievement Award for Literature, among many other awards and honors.
