Alice Hoffman

<p>Known for her own particular brand of magical realism, Alice Hoffman is the author of more than 30 works of fiction, including <i>Practical Magic</i>, <i>The Red Garden</i>, and the Oprah’s Book Club selection <i>Here on Earth</i>. Other books include <i>The Museum of Extraordinary Things</i>, <i>The Dovekeepers</i>, and most recently <i>The Marriage of Opposites</i> — an inspired fictionalized retelling of the life of the rebellious woman who gave birth to the father of Impressionism, Camille Pissarro.</p>
