Supporting Families: Lessons from the Field

Supporting Families provides a practical, in-depth examination of a large scale, privately funded initiative designed to assist families before child protective services needed to be involved. The authors draw upon six years of programs evaluation data from nine unique prevention programs to confirm short and long term benefits to parents struggling to bring up their children in deteriorating urban communities.
