The other evening I was speaking at a meeting. The chair­man asked, “How much time does the average man spend in meetings, Mr. Hegarty?”
The business man would answer, “Too much.” The pro­fessional man will say, “There are too many.” The ladies will agree, not because the master has spoken, but because they feel that way too. But the meetings go on, you and I attend, and they eat up valuable time.
