In this surreal comedy-drama directed by Quentin Dupieux, a cameraman who dreams of directing a horror movie (Alain Chabat), is promised financing by a wealthy producer, but only if he can find the best scream in the history of film, in a mere 48 hours. Furiously searching for the right scream, he finds himself lost in a nightmare which he confuses with reality.
