The Left Behind series is a Christian Fiction series written by Tim LaHaye. The story is based on an interpretation of prophecies in the books of Revelation, Daniel, Isaiah and Ezekiel. It tells the story of rapture during contemporary times. The books are written from a Protestant viewpoint. The success of the books has led to the release of four movies based on the series thus far. There have also been video games, graphic novels and soundtracks created around the books.
