<p>Widely credited with developing the romantic mystery genre, Mary Stewart (1916-2014) was an admired British author who also wrote children’s books and poetry. Perhaps best known for the Merlin Trilogy, which includes <i>The Crystal Cave</i>, she reimagined the Arthurian legend from the sorcerer’s point of view. One of her books, <i>The Moon Spinners</i> was made into a Disney movie.</p>
